This hour-long Thai Back, Neck and Shoulders Massage with Oil treatment is a deeply relaxing blend of some traditional Thai massage techniques and Swedish massage techniques applied with fragranced oil, which focuses purely on the back, neck and shoulders. Long slow gliding strokes, thumbs, elbows and knuckles are all used to ease tightness in the muscles, soften the fascia and dissolve knots of tension which build up in the shoulders and neck. The neck is gently stretched and acupressure points at the base of the skull are worked to encourage a state of deep relaxation and release. This treatment finishes with a gentle, full face massage covering acupressure points relating to specific issues such as headaches, insomnia and tension in the jaw.

For this treatment, it is necessary to remove your top/bra so that oil can be applied to the back and to the top of the chest and the shoulders. A towel is used to cover you and when you are lying on your back, only the top of the shoulders will be uncovered.
